Talos Data Works

The Rig

Built for the Jobsite

The Talos rig disappears into the workday — light enough for a ten-hour shift, tough enough for a crawlspace.

What's in the rig

Talos Capture Glove

A thin knit glove with flex-sensing seams, fingertip pressure sensors and a wrist status ring.

Head camera

A first-person camera on the hard-hat brim or a knit headband, aimed at the hands and the work.

Wrist camera

A second view from the dominant forearm that keeps the hands and tool in frame.

Recorder

A small electronics unit worn on the belt that powers the sensors and records every stream.

Safety comes first

The rig is prototype recording equipment, not protective equipment. Every contributor reads the Rig Safety Sheet before their first session.

  • The rig comes off whenever it gets in the way of safe work, with no penalty
  • Sessions run only on circuits that are switched off and verified dead
  • The sensor gloves are never a substitute for rated electrical gloves
  • Inspected before every session; any heat, swelling or damage means it comes off
