The Lab

The Capture Lab

Alongside field capture, Talos runs bench cells and full-scale mock-up bays (panels, rough-ins, condensers, cabinetry) where tradespeople repeat tasks under controlled conditions.

The Talos Capture Lab: full-scale mock-up bays with electrical panels, a plumbing rough-in and an HVAC condenser, tradespeople working under motion-capture cameras

Why capture in a lab

Repeatable

The same task, performed many times by several licensed contributors, so models see both consistency and individual technique.

Controlled

Consistent fixtures and lighting, a fixed operator camera, and per-session calibration of every fingertip-pressure channel against a reference load cell.

Safe and private

De-energized equipment, no customer property and no bystanders, so recordings need minimal redaction.
