Electrician Agreement: rig wearer
Signed by Each tradesperson who wears the rig, before their first session
The core agreement with the licensed tradesperson who wears the Talos rig: what is recorded, who owns it, how it may be used and how the contributor is paid.
- Records video, sound, head and wrist motion, hand and finger movement, fingertip pressure, labels and any narration. Cameras are aimed at the hands and the work, not the face.
- Talos owns the recordings and may license them, including to train AI and robotic systems, and licensees may sublicense them onward.
- Written consent for hand, movement and voice data, which is never used to identify the contributor. Licensees see only a contributor ID plus general facts such as trade, license class, experience, handedness and glove size.
- Pay is a 25% share of Talos's net receipts from the contributor's recordings for the 24 months after their first session, with a $100 minimum for anyone who records at least two hours. Pay depends on sales and comes with a quarterly statement.
- Contributors are not Talos employees and stay in charge of their work. Safety comes first: the rig comes off whenever it gets in the way, sessions are on de-energized circuits, and the sensor gloves are never a substitute for rated electrical gloves.
- Either side can end the agreement by email at any time. That stops future sessions; recordings already made, and the contributor's share of receipts, continue.
