Talos records skilled work exactly as the expert sees and does it: what's in front of them, how their hands move and how hard they grip, on real jobs and in our lab.

Two ways we capture
Field capture brings the variety of real work. Lab capture brings repeatability. Most programs use both.
Field capture
Licensed tradespeople wear the rig on real residential and commercial jobs.
Natural variation: real panels, real walls, real constraints
Only with the business's sign-off and a signed consent from every customer property
A recording notice is posted at every entrance during the session
Bench and lab capture
Tasks are repeated in Talos's own bench cells and mock-up bays.
Repeatable task lists performed by multiple contributors
Every recording follows the same protocol, from paperwork to delivery.
01
Paperwork first
The tradesperson signs the Electrician Agreement, their business signs off, and every customer property and any crew member who will be clearly seen or heard signs before recording starts.
02
Setup and safety
The rig is inspected, circuits are switched off and verified dead, and the recording notice is posted.
03
Record the work
The tradesperson works at their normal pace with hands and tools in frame, explaining what they're doing as they go. Recording pauses whenever anyone asks.
04
Privacy processing
Other people's faces are blurred, third-party speech is muted, and legible names, addresses and license plates are removed.
05
Label and check
Episodes and step boundaries are labeled, then checked against the order's acceptance criteria.
06
Deliver
Data ships with a manifest of every file and an officer's certificate covering the signed releases behind it.
